Following up last year’s big catch of a 200 lb marlin, Pitbullers were eager to get out on the water and try their luck. The catch of the day in 2014 included Mahi Mahi, tuna, sailfish. It was not just a fish tail – the resort cooked up the catch so everyone try it.
The sandy beaches of Huatulco, Mexico welcomed the crew of Pitbull in May. For the third year, Sami Hayek treated his staff and their spouses to a weeklong trip to beautiful Mexico. With lots to do including fishing, snorkeling, seadoing, shopping, and catching some rays by the pool, the group had a wonderful time. This is the best way for the crew to come together and get to know each other and the management team. Often when companies grow as fast as Pitbull has been year over year, they lose the culture and values that are important to employees. Hayek never wants Pitbull to be like that - he tries to do things differently and set the company apart. All those who went to Huatulco would agree that Pitbull hit it out of the park!
While the Pitbullers were hard at work strategizing for the upcoming year, their significant others enjoyed a little fun in the sun. The employees of Pitbull work very hard during the year and often rely on their spouses or significant others to handle things at home. It’s awesome that the company recognizes this and wants to reward them for their hard work as well.
A boatload of people headed off to explore the 7 bays of Huatulco and take part in snorkelling, dolphin watching and searching for the elusive turtles.
