So when the hardest working team in oilfield service takes a break, it really takes a break.
In May of 2012, a group of Pitbull team members, along with their spouses and children, were flown down to Los Cabos, Mexico to enjoy some fun in the sun. The group stayed at the Hotel Riu Santa Fie and kicked back between activities like parasailing, snorkeling and jet skiing.
Pitbull's top dog, Sami Hayek says the trips are a reward for staff. But more important, they are a way for staff to relax, recharge and get to know each other better.
“As we grow, I'd like us to retain the feel and culture of a small company,” says Hayek. “Our staff is often spread out in remote locations. This a great way to bring everyone together for a well-deserved break.”
The 2013 trip, with an even bigger group, is already being planned. Mexico is again the destination.
Many companies talk about staff being their most important asset.
At Pitbull, we don't just walk the talk. We walk it on a tropical beach, together.
