SATO Training Facility

SATO Canada: Advancing Safety and Training Excellence for Canada’s Energy Sector
Recognizing a critical gap in training within Alberta’s energy sector, Pitbull launched SATO Canada in 2021 to address the growing demand for highly skilled, safety-focused workers.
The late 2010s brought widespread market instability, resulting in a significant loss of experienced personnel from the energy industry. Compounding the challenge, strict safety regulations prohibited on-site training for entry-level workers, further exacerbating the shortage of qualified oilfield personnel. To meet this pressing need, Pitbull established SATO Canada—a purpose-built training facility unlike any other in the country.
